Abstract

(Section 1) In this section, the current practice of imaging is described. Attention has been focused on the role of radiology in the staging of lung cancer and the pulmonary nodule. New methods, such as the potential use of Nano-technology in medical imaging, are briefly referred here.

(Section 2) In this short section, the physics of fluorescence is briefly described. The application of florescence imaging in clinical practice of lung cancer are presented. Autofluorescence imaging for endobronchial cancer which is now an established method and is described in some detail.
