Abstract
Interactions of α-amino or guanidino-α-hydroxybutyryl-aminoglycosides with an essential sequence of Rev responsive element (RRE) in HIV-1 mRNA were evaluated using surface plasmon resonance imaging. Aminoglycosides were proved to bind nonspecifically to RRE.
