Abstract
The synthesis and characterization of the first rigid fused porphyrin-phthalocyanine hetero-dyad with two different metals is reported; was based on porphyrin’s dienophile features in Diels–Alder reactions. This synthetic procedure represents a new approach for the synthesis of extended systems based on tetrapyrrolic macrocycles.
