Bentham Online Journal Management System (MPS) Back

Online Manuscript Submission and Tracking System:

The Manuscript Processing System (MPS) is a web-based submission and tracking platform developed by Bentham Science Publishers for efficient, fast, and cost-effective processing of submitted manuscripts. MPS has been designed to enable step-by-step online processing and tracking of manuscripts for authors, editors, and the publisher, from submission to acceptance and final reproduction.

MPS

Introduction

MPS is a user-friendly system that can be conveniently operated. The system allows rapid and easy submission of original and revised manuscripts and indicates their status throughout the submission process. Authors who want to submit a paper must register and create an MPS account, selecting their desired journal from the available list during registration

Authors may also search for a journal by typing relevant keywords into the search bar (as indicated by the arrow on the homepage).

Each manuscript submission will be followed by a confirmation e-mail to the corresponding author. Authors can log onto the MPS at any time to view the status of their manuscripts. The system will notify the corresponding author by e-mail once a decision has been made on the peer-reviewed manuscript.

Getting Started

  1. The submission process for authors is simplified into the following steps: Log on to MPS at https://bentham.manuscriptpoint.com/journals; if you are a new user you will have to register to create your account.

  2. Register yourself as an Author for any Bentham Science journal.

  3. The submitting author will receive an email confirmation from MPS
  4. The author can submit an abstract or a complete manuscript after completing the registration form

  5. Upload all required files (MS Word, PDF, or ZIP), including figures, tables, schemes, or multimedia files.
  6. When you have selected all the files you wish to upload, click the Save & Continue button.

Peer-Reviewing and Editorial Decision:

Journals Editors receive an email alert for a new submission and must then assign reviewers to the manuscript. The reviewers receive an e-mail requesting peer-review of the assigned manuscript. Interested reviewers can accept or decline the offer. Reviewers who accept to review the manuscript can submit their comments online.

Authors receive a peer-review completion notification with the editorial decision by e-mail. The authors may retrieve the reviewers' comments from the MPS. Revised manuscripts must be submitted along with a response letter. Manuscripts will be subjected to final review by the Reviewers/Editors and an editorial decision will be duly conveyed to the authors regarding their submitted work.

Online Paper Tracking

Authors may track all the stages of publication online until their manuscript is finalized and is ready for publication. Log onto MPS and click the article title from the available list of your submitted manuscripts to view the detailed status at every stage of peer review and editorial decision.
