Prof. Luciano Mutti was graduated in Medicine in 1982, trained in Respiratory Medicine and in Oncology and completed the PhD Oncology program in 1994. Since, 1999 to 2104, he has been the Head of the Dept of Medicine and the Lab of Clinical Oncology of Vercelli General Hospital in Italy. Since, Oct 2014 to 2018he is the Chair In Cancer Research and Consultant at RMI. He is currently the Professor of Translational Oncology at Sbarro Institute for Cancer Research at Teple University (Philadelphia) He is last author of more than 150 original articles on translational cancer therapy and editor of monographies on the same topic
Dr. Nima Rezaei did his M.D. from School of Medicine, Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2002. He did M.Sc. and PhD from School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, The University of Sheffield in 2006 and 2009. He has more than 640 articles publications in the internationally recognized scientific journals (H-index: 50). Over the years, Dr. Rezaei has presented more than 400 lectures/posters in international and national congresses.
Dr. Oueslati Ridha is born at Tebourba Tunisia and he obtained Master degree in Biochemistry in 1982 from Strasbourg Luis Pasteur University. He moved to Paris where he obtained successively his DERBH in Immunology of Cancer and Transplantation 1985, and his Human Biology Doctorate (PhD) in 1986 from Medicine South Paris Faculty. He spent four years at National Cancer Institute Paris-Ville juif -France. He worked in 1988 as Assistant Professor in Immunology at Thameur Hospital Tunisia and Professor Associate in Immunology at Military Hospital Principal Tunis. In 2000, he moved to Sciences Faculty of Bizerte as Associate Professor then Professor in Immunology and Microbiology , he created IMEC Unit , direct more than 15 doctorate related essentially to inflammation , Clonal tumor and Molecular Bio Markers , Microorganisms screening and Immune toxicology . He has contributed his publication in different scientific journals.
Dr. Yee obtained a Medical Doctorate (M.D.) and a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Molecular Biology from Cornell University. Currently, Dr. Yee is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in Hematology and Oncology in the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He is also a medical oncologist in the Penn State Cancer Institute, and an attending and consultant physician in the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He has published basic, translational, and clinical sciences, including original research articles, review articles, book chapters, and clinical case reports. Dr. Yee is currently the Regional Editor of this journal (Applied Clinical Research, Clinical Trials and Regulatory Affairs), published by Bentham Science Publishers.
Dr Albawardi obtained Bachelor of Medicine from the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), Al Ain. Dr Albawardi, is also trained in anatomical pathology at McGill University, Montreal. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPS). She received additional training in transplantation pathology at the Ohio State University (OSU), Columbus. Dr Albawardi, is an Associate Professor at the UAEU, and a Consultant Histopathologist at Tawam hospital, Al Ain. She has authored more than 20 manuscripts, and is an avid researcher in oncology, nephrotoxicity and cellular bioenergetics.
Dr. Samra Abouchacra obtained her internal medicine & nephrology certification from the Royal College of Canada, MSc from Institute of Medical Sciences, University of Toronto and is a fellow of the American Society of Nephrology. She is currently director of outpatient services at Tawam Hospital-JHMI and chairperson for SEHA Urology & Kidney Disease Service Line Council. She also holds the title of clinical professor at Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS) Al Ain, UAE. She has published many papers and scientific projects in peer reviewed journals.

Dr. Simone Carradori obtained his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Sapienza University of Rome (Italy). Currently, he is assistant professor of Medicinal Chemistry at the Department of Pharmacy of “G. D’Annunzio” University of Chieti-Pescara (Italy). The scientific activity is mainly focused on design, synthesis and characterization of novel synthetic and natural derivatives with potential biological activity and is documented from about 98 papers in international peer-reviewed journals and one patent.
Dr. Aakash Deep (born January 19, 1982) is currently working as Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Ch. Bansi Lal University, Bhiwani. He was awarded B. Pharm. degree from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra (2006), and M. Pharm. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar (2008). He received his Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak (2015). He is the recipient of GATE and SRF of UGC. His expertise mainly lies in the areas of Drug designing and biological evaluation of novel molecules. While his more expertise lies in the area of Regulatory Affairs studies of health care products. He has published various articles in National and International peer-reviewed journals of repute with cumulative impact factor of 78.98. He has also books and book chapters in his credit and Invited Reviewer for various international journals. He is also the recipient Young Pharmacy teacher of the year award 2016 by APTI and Best Thesis award in Ph.D (Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak).
Chiheb Guerfel has graduated from medical school of Tunis in 2004 and since, held different positions in health care settings and local pharmaceutical companies in project management and medical departments until the creation of the first company of Poseidon CRO group in Tunis, Tunisia in 2009. Believing in the potential of emerging countries to provide a state of the art clinical research services and benefiting from continuous education and dynamic markets he expanded the activity of the group in Morocco (2014), Serbia (2015) and recently, Hungary (2019). He is an expert in regulatory framework in the regions and oversees operational CRO business in fast changing challenging and disparate environments.
Dr. Amit Kumar Goyal obtained his Ph.D. degree (2009) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar, India. Since April 2018, Dr. Goyal is Associate Professor at Gujarat Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. His expertise mainly lies in the areas of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. While his more specific expertise lies in Novel Drug Delivery Systems including nanotechnology. Dr. Goyal, as an author/co-author, has published more than 163 articles in various journals, having a significant number of total citations, i.e. over 4250
Jozef Hertecant obtained his medical degree from Ghent State University Belgium. He then trained in Pediatrics at the Ghent University Hospital, followed by fellowships at Ste-Justine Hospital, Montreal, Canada and at Groningen State University in the Netherlands. In 1992 he joined Tawam Hospital in Al Ain United Arab Emirates and has been working there ever since. His is Clinical Adjunct Assistant Professor at Faculty of Medicine at the UAE University, also in Al Ain. He started the Paediatric Metabolic Diseases Division at Tawam Hospital. Thanks to the collaboration of many others, it has by now become the main centre in the UAE for paediatric metabolic diseases. He has more than 40 publications.
Dr. Halah Ibrahim is the founding DIO and former Chair of Academic Affairs for Tawam Hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE. She is a member of several regional and international advisory committees for medical education. She holds a Masters of Education for Health Professionals from the Johns Hopkins School of Education, where she serves as a faculty member. She is currently the Executive Director of Health and Wellness at NYU Abu Dhabi. She is a graduate of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed Internal Medicine residency at The New York Hospital- Cornell Medical Center.
Dr. Kowash obtained a master and doctorate (PhD) in pediatric dentistry from Leeds University, UK. He also holds a fellowship (FRCD) from the Royal College of dentists of Canada and a fellowship (FDSRCPS) from Glasgow Royal College, UK. Currently Dr. Kowash is working as an Associate Professor in pediatric dentistry at the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU). He is an examiner for the MFDS part 2 and the Licensing examination in pediatric dentistry, Abu-Dhabi Health Authority in UAE. He has several publications and is a reviewer for several dental journals.
Dr Misik has over 30 years of experience in biomedical research and development, including more than 15 years as a scientist at the National Cancer Institute, NIH in Bethesda, George Washington University Medical School, Washington DC, and Slovak Academy of Sciences, Bratislava. Dr Misik is currently Vice President at Quintiles, a leading contract research organization, where over his 17 years tenure served in a variety roles including area head of business development, head of clinical operations in Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and North Africa, and most recently as head of Quintiles centralized operations centers in India. Dr. Misik obtained a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Biophysics from the Comenius University, Bratislava, Slovakia. Dr. Misik also holds a Masters degree in physics from the same university. He has published more than 60 research articles and book chapters in peer-reviewed journals: over the years his research focus has shifted from development of novel modalities of cancer treatment, and cardio-protective agents, to globalization of biopharmaceutical clinical trials.
Dr.Pillai obtained a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Sociology from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa. Dr. Pillai is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health (UK), and was awarded the 'Distinguished Senior Scholar award" by the International Consortium for Social Development (Asia-Pacific) recently. Currently Dr. Pillai is a Professor in the School of Social Work at the University of Texas- Arlington. He has published more than 150 peer reviewed articles and book chapters in addition to nearly a dozen co-authored books. He severs on the editorial boards of several journals in the fields of social sciences and public health.
Dr. You- Wen Qian has obtained PhD in Medical informatics from Rugters University, Newark, NJ. He is presently serving as a Director, Division of Hematopathology at the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine in The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston Galveston, TX. His areas of research are Clinical decision support: automatic flow cytometry data processing for diagnosing hematologic diseases, Lymphoma pathogenesis in viral infection induced lymphomas. He has been recognized with awards and honors such as Residents and Fellows Teaching Award, Certificate of Excellence for Outstanding Performance as Chief Resident and Conference Travel Award.
Dr. Ramchand obtained PhD in Biochemistry from MS University Baroda. He has extensive experience in various Universities such as University of Columbia, South Carolina, University of Wales and University of Sheffield, UK, in both Research and in teaching. He has got extensive experience such as Vice-President/CEO at Sun Pharmaceuticals (India), Kemin Industries, Saksin Lifesciences and MagGenome Technologies Pvt Ltd a start-up biotech company and Advisor to SciGenom Research Foundation, MedGenome Pvt Ltd and SciGenom Pvt Ltd. Dr. Ramchand has published over 70 peer-reviewed articles, over 20 patents and 5 books.
Dr. Younes Smani obtained his Doctorate degree (2006) in Drugs Science from the University Henri Poincaré (Faculty of Pharmacie), Nancy, France. Dr. Smani is currently affiliated with Hospital Universitario Virgen del Rocio (Microbiology and Preventive Medicine), Sevilla, Spain. His skills and expertise mainly lie in the subject areas of Polymerase chain reaction (PCR), Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Western Blot, Antimicrobial Resistance, etc. Dr. Smani, as an author/co-author, has published more than 35 articles in various journals, having over 405 total citations.
Dr. Job Simon is an Endocrinologist and internist, who have a great interest in clinical research. He is graduated from Christian Medical College, Vellore, India and pursued further training in the USA. His internal medicine training was at the State University of New York Stony brook, followed by Endocrinology and Nuclear Medicine training at NYU Winthrop University hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer center in NY. He held positions at Mt Sinai Queens hospital center NY, and at Tawam and Mafraq hospitals in the UAE. He is currently consultant Endocrinologist at the Burjeel hospital in Abu Dhabi. His areas of special interest are clinical endocrinology and endocrine oncology.
Dr. Semra Yörük is Radiation Oncologist and currently conducting First in Human Studies of one Antibody-Drug Conjugate targeting solid tumors. She has almost 20-year experience in clinical research; during different positions she managed many phase II-IV global and local clinical research projects in oncology, diabetes, neurology and internal medicine from feasibility process till the closure. She had many audits with no critical findings and participated to one FDA site inspections for phase III Pivotal oncology project. During last 6 years, she had been leading monitoring team and also coordinating clinical research activities in thirteen Middle East countries
Dr. Zhu Zhou obtained her Ph.D. degree (Pharmaceutical Science) in 2014 from University of the Pacific, Stockton, CA, USA. Dr. Zhou is currently affiliated with York College (CUNY), Jamaica, NY, USA, in the Department of Chemistry. Her areas of expertise mainly involve Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics, Drug-Drug Interactions, and Regulatory Science. Dr. Zhou, as an author / co-author, has published a number of manuscripts in various reputed journals, e.g. Cancer Sci, J Pharm Sci, Nanotoxicology, etc.
Dr. Satyanarayan Pattnaik did M. PHARM from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Orissa in 2004, Ph.D from Berhampur University, Orissa in 2007. He is presently working as Professor, Talla Padmavathi College of Pharmacy, Warangal. He has 15 years of teaching experience. He also worked as associate professor at Pharmacy College Saifai, Etawah during 2015-2018. He has presented 42 abstracts at international seminars and conventions. He has 33 international peer-reviewed publications with an H-index of 13, 2 books, 3 book chapters and 1 patent to his credit. He received the "State Winner" award at the National Elocution competition- 2003 conducted by The Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA). Katarzyna Rygiel, MD, PhD, has a background in primary care and research/education. She is a graduate of the Medical University of Silesia (SUM) in Katowice, Poland, and she holds a certificate in Clinical Trials Design and Management from University of California, San Diego in La Jolla, USA, where she completed her research training. Her research interests and publications include current topics in cardio-oncology (especially in patients with breast cancer), biomarkers (e.g., in various oncology and cardiology aspects), interdisciplinary patient-centered approaches, especially in patients with chronic psychosomatic diseases, receiving polytherapy. She promotes the integration of lifestyle modifications and stress management with medically necessary treatments.
Ahmed Youssif Hassanein Shahin, is a Consultant at Obstetrics and Gynecology, SANA Clinic, Berlin Brandenburg, GERMANY, and a Consultant at Marienkrankenhaus, Hamburg, Germany. He received the German Facharzt degree, Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2003. M.D in 2006, degree of Medicine and Surgery in 1996. He received a number of awards such as Prize of The German Society Of OB&Gyn, (DGGG, 2006) For best research design in the field of Reproductive medicine, Infertility and Gynecological Endocrinology, besides, he also received the Medical Scholarship of the German Academic Exchange Organization (DAAD). He has attended a number of workshops and conferences such as American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) Meeting, Georgia, Atlanta, USA in 2009, European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) meeting, Madrid, Spain, in 2003 etc. He has 35 publications to his credit.
Prof. Harish Dureja is an M. PHARM., Ph.D. He completed his Ph. D. in 2008 from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. He did Masters in Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics (1999) from Dept. of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Research, Punjabi University, Patiala. Currently, he is working as Professor in Pharmaceutics in the Deptt. of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak since 2016. His areas of research are Regulatory Affairs and Chemical Computation. He has vast teaching experience and has supervised a number of M. Pharm and Ph.D students. He has been involved in a number of book chapters and book monographs and has 55 papers to his credit with an H index of 17, i10 index of 22 and Citations of 1077. He is on the editorial board of a number of journals such as ARC Journal of Cancer Sciences, International Journal of Drug Regulatory Affairs, Journal of Pharmaceutical Technology, Research and Management etc. He has attended a number of seminars and workshops and received a number of prizes and awards such as he received the Best Thesis Award (Ph.D.) with GOLD-MEDAL by the Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak.
