De-Pei Li, MD is an Associate Professor in the Center for Precision Medicine, Department of Medicine at the School of Medicine, University of Missouri. Dr. Li has authored over 80 publications, invited lecturers at several major national and international meetings, He presently serves on several journal editorial boards, is the Editor-in-Chief of the Cardiovascular and Hematological Agents in Medicinal Chemistry and is an Associate Editor for Frontier in Neuroscience-Autonomic Neuroscience.



Dr. Morishita graduated from Osaka University Medical School in 1987, and received Ph. D. from Osaka University in 1991. After following postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine, he served as an Assistant Professor, Department of Geriatric Medicine, Osaka University Medical School from 1994 to 1998. Then, from 1998 to 2003, he was an Associate Professor, Division of Gene Therapy Science, Osaka University Medical School. He became professor & Chairman of Division of Clinical Gene Therapy, Graduate School of Medicine, Osaka University Medical School from 2003. He has also been awarded from various academic societies and is currently on the editorial board of over 30 scientific journals.




Professor Jerzy Beltowski obtained a doctorate (Ph.D) in medicine from the Medical University, Lublin, Poland. Professor Beltowski is the full professor in the Department of Pathophysiology of the Medical University, Lublin, Poland. He published 140 full-length papers which have been cited more than 3000 times. His “h” index is now 27. He delivered lectures at about 30 international congresses, in most cases as the invited speaker. He has also been the reviewer of many grant applications including EU Horizon 2020 program.




Professor Raymond Cheung is Lee Man-Chiu Professor in Neuroscience, Professor of Neurology at Department of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong, and Director of Acute Stroke Services, Hong Kong West Cluster Hospitals. He is a Fellow of the Royal Colleges of Edinburgh, Glasgow and London, as well as the American Heart Association, American Stroke Association, American Academy of Medicine, European Stroke Organization, Royal Society of Medicine, Hong Kong College of Physicians and Hong Kong Academy of Medicine. He is Past President of both Hong Kong Neurological Society and Hong Kong Stroke Society. His research interests include cerebrovascular disease, advanced and functional neuroimaging, and neuroprotection. He has published 160 journal papers and 26 book chapters.



Salvador Cruz-Flores, MD, MPH obtained his MD degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon in Monterrey, Mexico. He completed residencies in internal medicine and neurology at the same institution. In addition to neurology residency and a two year fellowship in cerebrovascular diseases and neurocritical care at Saint Louis University. He also has a Masters in Public Health (Epidemiology) degree from Saint Louis University School of Public Health. He joined Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso as Founding Chair of the Department of Neurology. Dr. Cruz-Flores is board certified in neurology, vascular neurology, neuroimaging, and neurocritical care. He is a Fellow of the Stroke Council of the American Heart Association (FAHA), the American College of Critical Care Medicine (FCCM), the American Academy of Neurology (FAAN), and the American College of Physicians (FACP) and the American Neurological Association (FANA). He has published over 110 peer reviewed papers, editorials and book chapters.




Mohamed Eddouks is Professor at Moulay Ismail University, Faculty of Sciences and Techniques Errachidia, Morocco with a Master Degree from University of Paris 6, a specialized certificate from Paris 7 and PhD degree from University of Liege, Belgium and post-doctoral fellowship at Faculty of Medicine of Montreal, Canada. His contribution to the field of phytotherapy of diabetes and hypertension includes four international books and more than 90 peer-reviewed articles. He has been honored with many national and international awards. He has been the founder Dean of Polydisciplinary Faculty of Errachidia.




Dr. Pasquale Niscola postgraduated in Hematology in 1994 at La Sapienza University of Rome; he also achieved executive masters in "Pathophysiology and clinical venous thrombosis", “Epidemiology for public health workers” and “Management of Healthcare Organizations". Dr. Niscola also obtained a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Hematology in 2008 from the Tor Vergata University of Rome. He is a medical doctor at S. Eugenio Hospital of Rome. He published more than 150 scientific papers; he is an active member of the Working Parties “Quality of Life” and “Myelodysplastic Syndromes” of the GIMEMA Foundation “Franco Mandelli”.





Professor Akbar Nikkhah holds BSc in Animal Sciences (University of Zanjan, Iran, 1999), MSc in Animal Nutrition (Isfahan University of Technology, Iran, 2001), PhD in Dairy Nutritional Physiology (University of Manitoba, Canada, 2007) and Post-Doctorate in Nutritional Genomics and Management (University of Illinois, US, 2008). Dr. Akbar has humbly received numerous national and international awards & honors. He has authored 50 books and book chapters and 600 scholarly high-impact publications namely referred articles of scientific, industrial and outreach nature. He serves as Editor and Reviewer & 200 multidisciplinary national and international journals.



KoKo Aung, M.D., M.P.H., is the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Professor of Medicine at the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at El Paso, where he also serves as the Vice President for Faculty Success. Dr. Aung received medical degree from the Rangoon University Medical College and MPH from the Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health. He completed Internal Medicine Residency at the Temple University School of Medicine/St. Luke’s University Hospital. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the National Board of Public Health Examiners.




Dr. Gokulnath Chandra Babu is currently working in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, India. He had completed his Ph.D. at the Vellore Institute of Technology. He received his Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Engineering degree from Anna University and VIT University, respectively. His current research interests include Big Data Analytics, the Internet of Things, the Internet of Everything, and Machine Learning. He has published papers in various international journals and conferences including 26 papers in which 2 in IEEE Access, 1 in ACM Transactions, 3 in Elsevier Publication, and 9 in Springer Publications. He is a reviewer for Elsevier, IEEE Access, IEEE Transactions, and Springer journal. He is a lifetime member of the International Society for Infectious Disease, the Computer Society of India, and a member of the Vellore Institute of Technology Alumni Association.





Dr. Ozgur Karcioglu graduated from his residency in the Department of Emergency Medicine, Turkey in 1998. He attended the “International Emergency Medicine” Fellowship in Penn State University in 2005. Currently he is the chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine, Istanbul Education and Research Hospital. He has served as a founder and board member of The Emergency Medical Association of Turkey after 1995. He published more than 150 articles in scientific journals and recently four edited book projects were published with the collaboration of InTechOpen. The book project “Demystifying COVID-19: Understanding the disease, Its Diagnosis and Treatment” was published by Bentham Science Publishers.





Dr. Garelnabi received a doctoral degree in Clinical Biochemistry from Delhi University, India. He joined a postdoctoral fellowship in cardiovascular disease and lipoprotein pathophysiology at Emory University, and The Ohio State University as a research scientist. Presently, Dr. Garelnabi is an Associate Professor in the department of Biomedical and Nutritional Sciences, University of Massachusetts Lowell. Dr. Garelnabi authored several scientific articles and book chapters. In addition, Dr. Garelnabi is an active member and contributor to many scientific and professional organizations including the American Heart Association North America Vascular Biology Organization, and the National Lipids Association, USA.




Dr. Khalid Aftab, Ph.D. male, Pharmacologist, graduated from department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Pharmacy University of Karachi, Pakistan in 1995. He worked for Pharmaceuticals industry as Quality Control & Quality Assurance professional and was actively involved in Research & Development of Pharmaceutical preparations. He is the Only Pakistani Pharmacologist who has got membership of American College of Clinical Pharmacology. He has published more than 50 papers in scientific journals of international repute and presented many lectures & poster presentations throughout the world. In recent year, he focused on the Biodiversity & Pharmacological activities of Marine organisms and got some important success.



Dr. Rami A. Al-Horani is assistant professor of medicinal chemistry at the Division of Basic Pharmaceutical Sciences of College of Pharmacy in Xavier University of Louisiana. Dr. Al-Horani received his PhD in pharmaceutical sciences from School of Pharmacy of Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Al-Horani’s research area of interest is the chemical, biochemical, and pharmacological design and development of saccharide and nonsaccharide glycosaminoglycan mimetics which can serve as novel therapeutics to treat cardiovascular diseases, cancer, or viral infections and/or chemical probes to investigate unknown mechanism of physiologic and pathologic conditions of significance to human health.




Pier Giovanni Baraldi became Full Professor of Medicinal Chemistry in 1987 at Bologna University and in 1992 he moved to Ferrara University where he is currently Full Professor of Medicinal Chemistry.He has published more than 400 scientific papers including about 50 patents and he participated in more than 90 Medicinal Chemistry meetings as plenary speaker. His research interests have been focusedon the design and synthesis of minor groove alkylating agents, combretastatin analogs, ligands for Adenosine Receptors, Cannabinoid Receptors, and Transient Receptor Potential channel modulators. He hadseveral scientific collaborations with national and international pharmaceutical companies.



Dr. Sultan Nacak Baytas works in Gazi University, Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Ankara, Turkey. Dr. Sultan completed Ph.D from Gazi University, Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Ankara, Turkey. Dr. Sultan has been a Postdoctoral Associate at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Department of Chemistry, Troy, NY, USA. Dr.Sultan has been involved in a number of sponsored projects. Dr. Sultan has a number of papers and poster presentations to his credit. Dr. Sultan has been a supervisor for masters and Ph.D thesis of students and has received NOVARTIS Science Award in 2005, from Turkey.




Alessandro Santo Bortone, MD, PhD, FSCAI is Chief of Department of Interventional Hemodynamic University of Bari,Associate Professor, Researcher Confirmed class VIII^ of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery University of Bari Aldo Moro, Coordinator of the Laboratory of Interventional Hemodynamic pertaining to the Cardiothoracic Department of the Hospital Consortium Policlinico University Hospital of Bari. Coordinator of multiple clinical trials. Vincenzo Calderone is Full Professor of Pharmacology at the Department of Pharmacy of the University of Pisa. His major scientific interests are focused on the Pharmacology of the cardiovascular system and, in particular, on the development and pharmacodynamic characterization of modulators of sarcolemmal and mitochondrial potassium channels. Moreover, intense research activity has been focused on the investigation of the biological roles of gasotransmitters such as nitric oxide (NO) and hydrogen sulphide (H2S) and on the development of NO-releasing or H2S-releasing agents as innovative cardiovascular drugs. He is author of well over 120 articles in international journals of Pharmacology and Medicinal Chemistry.




Prof. Chris Charles obtained a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Medicine from the University of Otago, Christchurch, New Zealand. Prof. Charles is currently based in Singapore as a Research Professor in the Cardiovascular Research Institute and Department of Surgery, National University of Singapore. He concurrently is appointed Research Professor at the Christchurch Heart Institute, Department of Medicine, University of Otago, Christchurch. He has published more than 110 scientific publications.




Dr Michele Correale graduated cum laude (2001) and specialization in Cardiology (2005) with full marks from Foggia University Medical School, Foggia, Italy He has received Phd in “Medical, Clinical and Experimental Sciences” in the University of Foggia (Italy) during the period of 2009-2012. He hold a master degree (II Level) in 2016 from University Medical School of Brescia. (International Master on “Global Clinical Research Training Program in Strategies and opportunities for drug development in heart failure”. 2015-2016). He attained Italian Society of Cardiovascular Echography Accreditation for transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography. He is currently working as a cardiologist in the University of Foggia, Italy. His research goals are heart failure and pulmonary hypertension in the fields of cardiovascular medicine.

Dr. Gavande obtained his PhD under Prof. Mary Chebib (Collins) from Faculty of Pharmacy at The University of Sydney, Australia. Following attainment of his PhD, Dr. Gavande did a postdoctoral training under well-known medicinal chemist at the Purdue University, where he developed several novel compounds for treating HIV/AIDS. In 2014, he joined as an Assistant Professor at Indiana University School of Medicine and he is currently focused on the development of novel inhibitors for treating lung and ovarian cancer.






Dr. Huang obtained Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology in Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, China; she later worked for two years as a postdoctoral researcher in CINVESTAV-IPN, Mexico. Currently Dr. Huang is the head of Laboratory of Pharmacology and Toxicology in Infantile Hospital of Mexico, Federico Gómez. She has been a principal investigator in more than 10 projects about metabolic programming in human and animal model. She has published more than 25 scientific publications.




Dr. Ozgur Karcioglu has graduated from his residency in Dokuz Eylul University Medical School, Department of Emergency Medicine, Turkey in 1998. He has attended the “International Emergency Medicine” Fellowship in PennState University (2005). Now he is the chair of Dept. of Emergency Medicine, Istanbul Education and Research Hospital. He has served as a founder and board member of The Emergency Medical Association of Turkey after 1995. More than a hundred and thirty articles were published in scientific journals. He has contributed in four books as editor, and authored 35 chapters. Recently, he has edited the book ‘Trauma Surgery’ with the collaboration of InTechOpen. He’s a member of The Editorial Board in a number of journals. He’s also an instructor of the Advanced Cardiac Life Support Course.





Alireza Karimi received his PhD in the field of Mechanical Engineering - Bioengineering from Kyushu University Japan. He published more than 120 international peer-reviewed papers so far and will continue his career in academic world thru the collaborative studies with many scientists in the world. His primary research interests are including Biomedical Engineering, biomechanics, injury simulation, tissue engineering, and cell mechanics.



He is Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at the Institute of Life Sciences of Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna (SSSUP, Pisa, Italy) and member of the Accademia dei Fisiocritici (the Academy of Science of Siena, Italy). He received his medical degree from the University of Bari “Aldo Moro” (Italy) and obtained his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Turin (Italy). In 2003, he completed a research fellowship at the New York Medical College (USA). He received his doctorate (Ph.D.) in Innovative Strategies in Biomedical Research from the SSSUP. He published more than 90 original articles and founded the Unit of Translational Critical Care Medicine at SSSUP.




Dr. Mohanraj Rajesh received his Ph.D. from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, India. Currently he is serving as assistant professor in the department of pharmacology and therapeutics, college of medicine and health sciences (CMHS) at UAE University. He is involved in active teaching for undergraduate MD program and special topics in pharmacology for graduate students. His research focuses on the understanding the role of glycolipid as second messenger in the pathophysiology of diabetic cardiovascular complications, molecular mechanisms governing the organ toxicity associated with the treatment of chemotherapeutic drugs [cisplatin and doxorubicin], and identification of novel drug targets for mitigating ischemia/reperfusion induced-myocardial and hepatic tissue injury.




Dr. Petrovič obtained Ph.D. from the field of genetics at the University of Ljubljana. He is specialist of internal medicine, cardiology and vascular medicine, and is fellow of european society of cardiology (FESC).
He is Director of the Institute of histology and embryology at the Faculty of Medicine, University Ljubljana, Slovenia. He is Full Professor of histology and embryology at the Faculty of Medicine, University Ljubljana.
So far he has written 106 SCI manusripts. So far he has been the reviewer of approximately 500 papers in different journal. Total number of citations 931, H index 15. Currently, he is serving as an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at The Ohio State University. Dr. Saeed Samarghandian is a professor of medical physiology at Neyshabur University of Medical Sciences, Neyshabur. He received his Ph.D. and Post-doc fellow from Tokyo (Japan) before eventually becoming an assistant professor at Neyshabur University of Medical Sciences. After his fifteen-year career as lecturer and supervisor for many research projects, he accepted the Head & Chairman of Department of Basic Medical Sciences at Neyshabur University of Medical Sciences. Dr. Mendes Soares is an associate professor and researcher at the Federal University of Santa Maria- Brazil. He has been focusing In research on oxidative stress, diabetes, exercise, and metabolic disorders for more than 20 years. He has published many articles on the subject in high impact periodicals and serves as a reviewer in many journals in different disciplines of biology and biomedical sciences.




Dr. Athanasios Tragiannidis, MD, is an Assistant of Paediatric- Pediatric Hematology Oncology of the 2nd Pediatric Department at the AHEPA University Hospital in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. His postgraduate education included residency training in pediatrics and fellowships in Pediatric Hematology Oncology at the AHEPA University Hospital in Thessaloniki and in the Department of Pediatric Hematology Oncology in Munster, Germany. Dr. Tragiannidis’ major research interests include leukemia, infectious complications in the immune-compromised host, particularly invasive fungal infections, late effects of chemotherapy and the design and conduct of clinical research studies.




Dr. Neetu Mishra is presently serving as an Associate Professor at Symbiosis School of Biological Sciences, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune. She has completed her M. Sc. in Applied Biochemistry from Cancer Hospital & Research Institute, Jiwaji University, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh (M.P.). She has further obtained Ph.D. in Medical Biochemistry from G.R. Medical College, Jiwaji University, Gwalior, M.P, India. She has worked on oxidative stress and blood viscosity in Type 1 and type 2diabetes for her Ph.D. She is a member of many professional bodies which includes Association of clinical Biochemists of India, Indian Academy of Biomedical Sciences, Nutrition Society of India and Society of Biological scientists of India. Rajesh Pandiyan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biochemistry, Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, Karpagam University Eachanari, India. He has teaching experience since 2019 in the Dept. of Biochemistry Karpagam University, India. He did P.D.F., in Civil Engineering from Yeungnam University, South Korea during 2016-2018. Prof. Vibha Rani is working as a Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, India. She completed her Doctoral Studies from School of Life Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She has been honored with the prestigious AR Rao Memorial Young Scientist Award, S.C Tyagi Young Faculty Award and Academic Brilliance Young Faculty Award, 2017. He has also received extra-mural funding for her research work from the Department of Science and Technology and Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India. Her research focuses on understanding the mechanism of action of phyto molecules, and also to develop ideal drug molecule for prevention of cardiac diseases.



Dr. Ramin Rezaee is currently an Assistant professor at School of Medicine, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Mashhad, Iran. He received Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Iran in 2007 and PhD in Toxicology from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Iran in 2014. He has numerous publications to his credit.




Dimitrios Vrachatis graduated Medical School in 2008 (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens), holds an MSc in Health Care Management (2013; Hellenic Open University; Patras) and a PhD in the field of cardiovascular bioengineering & interventional cardiology (2014; National and Kapodistrian University of Athens). Dr. Vrachatis has been a co-author in peer-reviewed publications, while he has served as a Guest Editor in international medical journals. Dr. Vrachatis is a trainee of Cardiology in the greek national health system. Dr. Vrachatis has participated in the teaching program of under- and post- graduate students of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
