Publishes original research articles, letters, reviews/mini-reviews and guest-edited thematic issues in all areas of electrical engineering. Articles may be focused largely, but not exclusively, on contributions from China.
The Electrical Engineering section of the journal Current Chinese Science publishes original research articles, letters, reviews/mini-reviews and guest-edited thematic issues in all areas of electrical engineering. Articles may be focused largely, but not exclusively, on contributions from China.
This section is not limited to a specific aspect of the field but is instead devoted to a wide range of sub-fields in the area. Articles of interdisciplinary nature are particularly welcome. Submissions in the following areas of electrical engineering are of special interest to the readers of this journal:
• Advanced power electronics technology
• Alternative energy resources
• Battery and energy storage
• Carbon capture from power generation
• Cyber-physical systems
• Demand response
• Electric machinery
• Electric vehicles
• Energy development and power generation
• Grid interaction of sustainable energy sources
• Integrated energy systems
• Integration and co-management of electric power systems and other infrastructure systems, e.g. transport system, water distribution system, communication system, etc.
• New concepts and solutions, e.g. digital twins, transparent power grids, blockchains
• Nuclear power engineering
• Power engineering education
• Power system communication
• Power system instrumentation and measurements
• Power system relaying
• Smart grids
• Others
