Rizvi is a Professor of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences and a broadly trained scientist, educator, and healthcare contributor with vast clinical and translational research experience, driving innovation within pharmaceutical product development platforms. He is highly motivated and committed to advancing medical innovation and education, discovering new therapies, improving patient outcomes, and playing an instrumental role in scientific and business strategies. Dr. Rizvi has extensive training and background spanning over 25 years of experience in industrial, academic, administration, and healthcare settings.
He has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles, including journal publications, book chapters, books, US patents, and oral/poster presentations. His publications include highly rated articles and cover articles. He also serves on the editorial boards/panels of different journals in various capacities and reviews manuscripts and books for over 150 well-known scientific journals and books. Dr. Rizvi enjoys teaching, cooking, and practicing martial arts (Hakko-Ryu Jujutsu and black belt in Okinawan Goju Ryu Karate).
His research interests incorporate clinical and translational research including clinical trials, graduate medical education (GME) pharmaceutical formulations (direct compressed tablets, topicals and liquids); ionic liquid formation and cocrystallization of the pharmaceutical compounds; nano and micro-encapsulation of the drugs for targeting and controlled release; multistep synthesis of small organic molecules; pharmaceutical analysis (forensics and method development); design and synthesis of novel monomeric and polymeric surfactants for separation of chiral and achiral compounds in micellar electrokinetic chromatography (MEKC); method development and validation for separations of achiral and chiral compounds utilizing MEKC-UV/MS and HPLC-UV-MS; application of cryogenic high resolution scanning electron microscopy (Cryo-HRSEM) and analytical ultracentrifuge for characterization of polymeric surfactants; chemical transformation of pharmacologically active compounds using microbial whole cultures; isolation and pharmacology of compounds from fungal metabolites and medicinal plants; fragrance and aroma chemistry; Cosmeceutical Sciences.

In 2013 LC was awarded with the European Braconnot Prize. He was awarded an Honorable Mention by the Capes Prize for Theses in 2008 for his thesis entitled "In vitro evaluation of the cutaneous permeability of rutin in cosmetic emulsions". He held a postdoctoral fellow position at the Lusophone University of Humanities and Technologies at the CBIOS research center. He participates in national and international congresses, including works awarded with international academic partnership. He serves as coordinator of the Graduate Program in Drugs and Medicines and deputy head of the Department of Pharmacy at FCF-USP. Prof Andre won 19 funded grants and all the funded projects were completed in time. Prof. Andre has a long research experience in the area of photoprotection and sunscreens non-sunscreens, nanotechnology applied in this class of preparations, cutaneous antioxidant potential "ex vivo", safety and cosmetic efficacy related to sun protection and other cosmetic attributes.

In 2009, she was appointed as an Adjunct Professor for Pharmaceutical and Nutritional Nanotechnology at the University Putra Malaysia (UPM) and in 2011 she obtained her Venia legendi (Habilitation) at the Freie Universität Berlin and was appointed as a Professor for Pharmacology and Pharmaceutics at the University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern. Since 2016, she has been a Professor of Pharmaceutics and Biopharmaceutics at the Philipps-Universität Marburg. Her field of research is the development and characterization of innovative nanocarriers for improved delivery of poorly soluble activities for healthcare and cosmetics. Prof. Keck is executive board member of the German Association of Nanotechnology (Deutscher Verband Nanotechnologie), Vize-chairman of the unit „Dermocosmetics“ at the German Society of Dermopharmacy, active member in many pharmaceutical societies and member of the BfR Committee for Cosmetics at the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR).

Dr Roswanira Abdul Wahab has research interest largely in the area of nanoparticles and green nanomaterials technology, with emphasis on the advancement of functional green nanomaterials for a variety of applications, in particular for controlled delivery and activation of bioactive proteins. Her nanoparticle research encompasses the development of different types of nanoemulsions containing naturally extracted plant bioactive compounds, i.e. anti-oxidants. Dr. Chiara De Luca is an expert in clinical biochemistry, and has worked in the field of dermatology and cosmetology since 1985, focusing on the research and development of innovative products for skin care and therapy. Starting from pioneering studies on microbial and food models of lipoperoxidation, she has been engaged in translational research on the pathogenetic role of redox imbalance and lipid oxidation in human skin. She has conducted studies and published results in peer-reviewed international journals on skin inflammation, acquired pigmentary diseases, skin ageing, environmentally-driven cutaneous and metabolic pathologies, and on clinical trials with innovative plant-based skin products.

Dr. Kumari’s work in the area of solution chemistry of supramolecular complexes is widely recognized. Her current research focuses on integrating principles of modern biophysics into material and formulation science towards the development of novel skin care, oral care and hair care products. Her research projects focus on understanding mechanisms of delivery and deposition of actives onto the skin/hair and elucidating the parameters to control them. In addition, her research focuses on developing methods to construct novel nonmetric delivery vehicles, based on the principles of self- assembly and molecular recognition. He is also the founder and editor-in-chief of the Journal of Applied Cosmetology (official organ of ISCD, International Society of Cosmetic Dermatology) since 1983 and the father of use of nanotechnology in cosmetics production. Since 2003, he is the Professor of Applied Cosmetic Dermatology, II Univ. of Naples and Univ. of Pavia and from 2005 he is a visiting Professor of China Medical University Shenyang. He is active in Cosmetic research since 1963 and is the 1996 - winner of “Elegance Cosmetic Engineering Innovation Award.

Xanel Vecino has a PhD in Chemical Engineering (University of Vigo, 2014) and she is a postdoc researcher at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Her research is based on the biotechnological production, extraction, characterization and applications (including cosmetic, environmental and food) of biosurfactants from renewable agro-industrial residues. Currently, her lines of research have been focused on the development of integral processes using adsorption and membrane technologies for resource recovery from agro-industrial streams. The results of these research works have been published in more than 50 papers, 4 patents, 1 book, 7 book chapters, 11 conference papers, and she has presented over 110 works to national and international conferences (10/04/20). She is a regular evaluator of research articles, research projects in competitive calls and Guest Editor of several journals from MDPI.

Dr. Paola Saovia is a head of SCDU Dermatology, AOU Maggiore della Carità, Novara, Italy and Associate Professor in Dermatology at the University of Eastern Piedmont, Italy. She holds the Master Degree in Medicine and Surgery (1990) and the Specialization in Dermatology and Venereology (1994) at the University of Turin, Italy. Her main fields of interest are represented by pathogenesis, diagnosis and innovative therapeutic approaches of skin cancer. Her research is collected in 135 scientific publications in international journals with impact factor (H-index 27) and over 200 scientific reports presented at national and international congresses. Her clinical activity includes diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for patients with cutaneous melanoma, non-melanoma skin cancers and primary cutaneous lymphoma. She is principal or sub-investigator in several clinical trials according to ICH/GCP principles and member of the Clinical Trial Centre Board – AOU Maggiore della Carità.

Dr. Jacek received his PhD degree from the Warsaw University of Technology in 1972. He is a specialist in organic technology. After completion of his PhD, Dr. Jacek completed three postdoctoral fellowships from: Institute of Organic Chemistry of the USSR, Irkutsk, (1973-4), University of Oslo, (1981-2), Ruhr University (1988-9). He is the scientific consultant for many cosmetic companies, including Henkel Poland. He serves as the Rector of The Academy of Cosmetic and Health Care in Warsaw (Medical School MSC). He was Editor-in-Chief of 2 magazines on cosmetic issues and now sits on the editorial boards of various journals. He is the author of 6 books, 12 patents and several hundred publications and delivered many conference speeches related to cosmetology.

Development and characterization of mucosal and ocular delivery systems and application of nanotechnology in transdermal drug delivery are others major research interests.

Dr Mahmood Ahmed received his M.Sc. (2003), M.Phil. (2013) and PhD (2018) degrees in Chemistry from Institute of Chemistry, University of the Punjab, Lahore-Pakistan. Currently he is working in Renacon Pharma Limited as Head Quality Operations and R & D. During his doctoral studies, he synthesized curcumin analogs and studied their various biological activities including antimicrobial and enzymatic inhibition. His research interest involve synthesis of novel drug analogs and tested them for various pharmacological properties against different phenotypes of various disease models. From analytical chemistry point of view, current research focuses on development and validation of method for analysis of foods and pharmaceutics. In addition, he taught theoretical and practical analytical chemistry to undergraduate and postgraduate students as visiting faculty member in University of Education, Lahore. His ongoing voluntarily mandate as a scientist, now supervising many postgraduate and PhD students to complete their research. Recently, He and his team optimized HPLC methods for stability indicating assays for the analysis of drugs in real samples of different dosage forms, urine and plasma samples. His research has resulted in the publication of 76 peer‐reviewed articles over 369 citations and h index = 11 and also he has reviewed 162 research articles for 32 international journals.
