YEON HO CHUNG (yhchung@pknu.ac.kr) is a Professor at the Department of Information and Communications Engineering, Pukyong National University, Busan, Korea. He obtained MSc. from Imperial College London, U.K., in 1992 and a Ph.D. from the University of Liverpool, U.K. in 1996. He was a visiting professor at Pennsylvania State University, U.S. and also at Chiba University, Japan. He received the Top 2014 Paper Award from Transactions on Emerging Telecommunications Technologies, Wiley, and also received the Busan Science and Technology Award for outstanding research achievements in 2020. He was a keynote speaker for international conferences, such as 11 th IFIP WMNC and 12 th CSNDSP. He is an associate Editor of IEEE Access and a senior member of IEEE. His research interests are visible light communications, UAV wireless communications and ultraviolet scattering communications.
Dan Huang received the B.E. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2002, and the M.E. (with first class honors) and the Ph.D. degree from The University of Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand, in 2004 and 2008, respectively. He was a Lecturer at the University of Auckland in 2009. He has been with Shanghai Jiao Tong University since 2010. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the Department of Automation, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. In 2011, he was a visiting professor at Sloan School of Management, MIT.
His current research interests include nonlinear modeling and analysis, fuzzy logic control, networked control systems, and human factor modelling. Dr. Dan Huang has published one monograph with Springer. He has published extensively at leading journals and flagship conferences. He is the founding and Co-Editor-in-Chief of this journal, published by Bentham Science Publishers.
Dr. S. Kami Makki is currently a professor of Computer Science. He also worked in public and private industries for a number of years. Dr. Makki is an active researcher in the fields of mobile and wireless computing, security, data warehousing and mining. He has published four books, ten book chapters and over hundred publications in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. Currently he serves as Editor-in-Chief, Associate Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board Member for several prestigious International Journals. Dr. Makki has also served as a Technical Program Co-Chair and Technical Program Vice-Chair for National Science Foundation Workshop on an Infrastructure for Mobile and Wireless Systems 2001, as well as Vice Conference-Chair, Registration Chair, Publication Co-Chair, Conference Operation Co-Chair and Technical Program Committee (TPC) for numerous conferences sponsored and supported by IEEE, ACM, and Springer member and reviewer for a number of IEEE, ACM and NSF. He also has received a number of achievement awards in recognition of his outstanding leadership, commitment and services.
Jiwei Wen received his Ph.D. degree in Control Science and Control Engineering from Jiangnan University, Wuxi, China, in 2011. Currently, he is an associate professor of School of Internet of Things Engineering, Jiangnan University, Wuxi, China. His research interests include stochastic switched system, networked control systems, model predictive control and T-S fuzzy modeling and control. He serves as an associate editor of the International Journal of Sensors, Wireless Communications and Control.
Nasimuddin received his B.Sc. degree in 1994 from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India, and his M.Tech. (Microwave electronics) and Ph.D. degrees in 1998 and 2004, respectively, from the University of Delhi, India. Currently, he is a scientist at the Department of Internet of Things Connectivity, Institute for Infocomm Research, Singapore. He has published 128 journal and conference technical papers on microstrip-based microwave components. His research interests include multilayered microstrip-based structures, millimeter-wave antennas, radio-frequency identification reader antennas, Global Positioning System/Global Navigation Satellite System, ultra-wide-band antennas, metamaterials-based microstrip antennas, satellite antennas, circularly polarized microstrip antennas, and small antennas for TV white space communications. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE and the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society. He was awarded a senior research fellowship from the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India in Engineering Science (2001–2003); a Discovery Projects fellowship from the Australian Research Council (2004–2006); and the Young Scientist Award from the International Union of Radio Science (2005).
Dr H. K. Lam is currently a Reader at King’s College London, United Kingdom. His current research interests include intelligent control and computational intelligence. He has served as committee member for many international conferences and associated editor for a number of international journals. He has authored/co-authored over 250 publications. He is a coeditor of two edited volumes: Control of Chaotic Nonlinear Circuits (World Scientific, 2009) and Computational Intelligence and Its Applications (World Scientific, 2012), and author/coauthor of the monographs: Stability Analysis of Fuzzy-Model-Based Control Systems (Springer, 2011), Polynomial Fuzzy Model Based Control Systems (Springer, 2016) and Analysis and Synthesis for Interval Type-2 Fuzzy-Model-Based Systems (Springer, 2016).
Dr. Yuchen Liu is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at NC State University. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology. His research covers wireless networking and systems, mobile computing, AI/machine learning for networks, new communication paradigms, optimization and algorithms. Yuchen also seeks to develop novel software and testbeds for the evaluations of computer networks with enhanced efficiency and run-time scalability. All research topics are investigated using theory, algorithms, simulation, and experimental techniques, which aim to increase the intelligence, capacity, and robustness of next-generation network systems that support emerging applications on mobile edges, and enable the freedom experience via untethered and smart connectivity.
Ramiz M. Aliguliyev is head of the department at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS. He received BSc and MSc in applied mathematics from Baku State University, Azerbaijan in 1983. He received his Ph.D. (2002) in Mathematics and Doctor of Science (higher degree after PhD) in Computer Science (2011). His research interests include: Text Mining; Clustering; Evolutionary and Swarm Computation; Data Mining; Online Social Network Analysis; Big Data Analytics, and Scientometrics. He is the author of 192 papers and 4 books.
Brij B. Gupta received PhD degree from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India in the area of Information and Cyber Security. In 2009, he was selected for Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship awarded by Government of Canada. He published more than 250 research papers in International Journals and Conferences of high repute. He has visited several countries, i.e. Canada, USA, Japan, Malaysia, UK, Spain, China, Italy, Thailand, Hong-Kong, Australia, etc to present his research work. His biography was selected and published in the 30th Edition of Marquis Who's Who in the World, 2012. Dr. Gupta also received Young Faculty research fellowship award from Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India in 2018. He is also working as principal investigator of various R&D projects. Moreover, he is serving as associate editor and reviewer of various reputed journals. At present, Dr. Gupta is working as Assistant Professor in National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra India. His research interest includes Information security, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Web security, Intrusion detection and network performance evaluation.
Dr. He obtained the BEng and Ph.D from Key Laboratory of Advanced Process Control for Light Industry (Ministry of Education), Institute of Automation, Jiangnan University, China. From 2011 to 2013, he was successively a Lecturer in Anhui University. Currently Dr. He is a Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Anhui University, Hefei, China. From 2010 to 2011, he was a Visiting Scholar with the Control Systems Centre, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, The University of Manchester, UK. He has published one book and more than 60 scientific publications and 2 named inventor of China patents. His current research focuses on control theory and applications, includes robust control of stochastic systems, nonlinear and optimal control of nonlinear systems and complex system modeling, control, filtering, fault detection and their applications. Jun Hu received the PhD degree in Control Science and Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2013. From May 2014 to April 2016, he was an Alexander von Humboldt research fellow at the University of Kaiserslautern, Kaiserslautern, Germany. His research interests include nonlinear control, filtering and fault estimation, time-varying systems, complex networks, sensor networks and distributed estimation. He has published more than 50 papers in refereed international journals.
Dr. Jean-Fu Kiang obtained his Ph.D. degree in 1989 from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, MA, USA. Since 1999, Dr. Kiang has been a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Graduate Institute of Communication Engineering at National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan. His research interests involve electromagnetic applications, including antennas, phased arrays, propagation, radar signal processing, remote sensing, ionospheric and atmospheric phenomena, satellites, wireless communications, radio astronomy, electromagnetic compatibility, etc. Dr. Kiang, as an author/co-author, has published more than 170 articles in various journals.
Dr. Kakarla Hari Kishore received B.Tech from JNTU Hyderabad and M.Tech from SK University, Andhra Pradesh, India. He received his Ph.D. in the field of VLSI from Koneru Lakshmaiah University, Guntur. Currently, he is pursuing Postdoctoral Fellowship in Malaysia. He has published Two IEEE Transactions and more than 95 papers in International, National Journals and Conferences. He is a reviewer for several International Journals and Conferences, He has published four textbooks and eight patents. His research interests include VLSI, Fault Tolerance and Digital Testing. He is a life member of ISTE, IACSIT, IAENG, and IE.
Professor J. Lam received a BSc (1st Hons.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University
of Manchester, MPhil and PhD degrees from the University of Cambridge. He is Chair of Control
Engineering at the University of Hong Kong and a Cheung Kong Chair Professor, Ministry of
Education, China. Professor Lam is Editor-in-Chief of
Dr. Kun-Chou Lee was born in Taiwan. He received his B.S. degree in 1989, M.S. degree in 1991, and PhD degree in 1995, from the National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, all in Electrical Engineering. Since February 1, 2004, he has been with the Department of Systems and Naval Mechatronic Engineering, National Cheng-Kung University, Tainan City, Taiwan, where he is currently working as a professor. His research interests include data science, artificial intelligence, algorithm, and their applications to communications and remote sensing.
Dr Wei Hong LIM is currently an Assistant Professor and a researcher at Faculty of Engineering, Technology and Built Environment in UCSI University. He obtained his PhD in Computational Intelligence from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang, Malaysia in 2014. Dr Lim was attached to the Intelligent Control Laboratory in National Taipei University of Technology, Taiwan as the Postdoctoral Researcher in 2015 to 2017 and as the Visiting Researcher in 2019. He has been involved in research areas of computational intelligence, optimization algorithms, energy management, digital image processing and etc. He is an active reviewer for various reputable international journals and conferences.
Dr. Rajesh M is a professor at Sanjivani college of engineering, India. He is an associate editor of IET Nanobiotechnology, 3D-Research (Springer), and editor of Mathematical and Computational Forestry, and Natural-Resource Sciences (MCFNS), He has published over 90 papers in international refereed journals like IEEE, Springer, and Elsevier. He served as a reviewer for Springer, Inderscience, and Elsevier journals. He has published many research articles in refereed journals and IEEE conferences. He has served as general chair for international and national conferences organized globally. He has worked as a PC member for many conferences conducted in India and abroad and also has successfully organized some special issues in highly indexed journals. His main research interests include IoT, blockchain techniques, Cyber-physical systems, Industry 4.0, e-health technologies, and soft computing techniques.
Prof Olutayo Oyerinde obtained his Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering in 2011 from the University of Kwazulu-Natal, Durban South Africa. He has been with the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa since December 2013, where he is currently an Associate Professor. Prof Oyerinde is an NRF (National Research Foundation) rated scientist, registered professional engineer (Pr.Eng) with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), registered engineer (R.Eng) with COREN, Senior Member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineer (SMIEEE), Corporate Member of NSE amongst others. His current research focuses on wireless communications with specific interests in 5G and beyond 5G technologies including OFDM system, NOMA systems, Massive MIMO, mmWave Massive MIMO, channels estimation, multiuser detection and other signal processing techniques for wireless communication systems. Prof. Oyerinde has authored/co-authored more than 75 articles in both conference proceedings and journals.
Dr. Qu received his MS and Ph.D. degrees with honor in electromagnetics and microwave engineering from Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2015 and 2018, respectively. He is currently a research fellow in the department of Electronics and Computer Engineering at Hanyang University. He is serving as technical reviewer for over 20 leading international journals in applied electromagnetics and microwave engineering, including some leading journals as IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, IEEE Access. His research interests include but not limited to: Antennas, mmWave arrays, 5G and beyond communication, metasurfaces, MIMO systems, electromagnetic interference (EMI), RF circuits and devices, wearable and flexible sensors, compact antenna design, antenna interaction with human body, Implants, as well as microwave/millimeter-wave components, devices, circuits, and systems.
Dr. Mouquan SHEN obtained the Ph.D in Control Theory and Control Engineering from the Northestern University, China, in 2011. From 2015 to 2017, he was a visiting scholar with The Yeungnam University, The University of Hong Kong, HongKong, and The University of Adelaide, respectively. Since 2018, he has been a Professor at the Nanjing Tech University, China. He has published over 40 international journal papers and served as an Associate Editor of Mathematical Problems in Engineering.
Yan Shi received the BSc degree in Applied Mathematics from Northeast Heavy Machinery Institute (now Yanshan University), China, 1982; the MSc degree in Applied Mathematics from Dalian Maritime University, China, 1988; the PhD degree in Information and Computer Sciences, from Osaka Electro-Communication University, Japan, 1997.
Dr. Shi is currently a professor at the Graduate School of Science and Technology, Tokai University, Japan. His research interests include approximate reasoning, fuzzy reasoning, fuzzy system modelling and applications, neuro-fuzzy learning algorithms for system identification. He has published over 200 papers in journals and conferences. He has actively served in a number of journals. He is the Executive Editor of International Journal of Innovative Computing, Information and Control; and Editor-in-Chief of ICIC Express Letters. He is a member, the board of directors of Biomedical Fuzzy Systems Association, and the board of trustees of Japan Society for Fuzzy Theory and Intelligent Informatics.
Dr. Yang Xiao currently is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, AL, USA. His current research interests include networking and computer/network security. He has published over 200 journal papers and over 200 conference papers. Dr. Xiao was a Voting Member of IEEE 802.11 Working Group from 2001 to 2004, involving IEEE 802.11 (WIFI) standardization work. He is a Fellow of IET. He currently serves as Editor-in-Chief for International Journal of Security and Networks, International Journal of Sensor Networks, and Journal of Communications.
Dr. Changyan Yi received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Manitoba, Canada, in 2014 and 2018, respectively. From September 2018 to August 2019, he worked as a Research Associate at the University of Manitoba, Canada. Since September 2019, he has been with the College of Computer Science and Technology, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA), Nanjing, China, where he is currently a Professor. His research interests include mechanism design, game theory, queueing theory and their applications in various wireless networks including edge/fog computing, IoT, 5G and beyond.
Yashar Zehforoosh was born in Urmia Iran in 1981. He received his Ph.D. degree from science and research branch of Islamic Azad University in 2012 in Telecommunication Engineering Fields and Waves. In addition, he is a Faculty with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Urmia Branch of Islamic Azad University, Urmia, Iran since 2009 where he is currently Head of microwave and antenna research center. His research interests include broadband antennas, electromagnetic structures and UWB systems.
Safdar Hussain Bouk received the B.E. degree in computer systems from the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro, Pakistan, in 2001, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in engineering from the Department of Information and Computer Science, Keio University, Yokohama, Japan, in 2007 and 2010, respectively. He worked as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan. Currently, he is working as a Research Professor in the Department of Information and Communication Engineering.
Dr. Hala Elsadek is a professor and Department head at the Microstrip Department, Electronics Research Institute from 2017. She graduated from Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt 1991, master from the University of Gunma, Japan 1996, while PhD was through a channel from the University of California, Irvine, USA in 2002. Her research interests are in the field of RF wireless communications, electromagnetic engineering and microstrip antenna systems. Dr. Elsadek published four books, five patents. and more than 125 research papers. The google scholar citation of Dr. Elsadek publications is 839 in 2017 with h-index:16. She is an IEEE senior member from 2011.
Ivan Izonin is a Lecturer at the Institute of Computer Science and Information Technology of Lviv Polytechnic National University, Ukraine. He received his MSc degree in Computer science from the Lviv Polytechnic National University in 2011 and his MSc degree in Economic cybernetics from the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in 2012. He received a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the Lviv Polytechnic National University in 2016. Dr Izonin has authored more than 125 publications, including 11 patents for inventions and 2 tutorials. His main research interests focus on computational intelligence, high-speed neural-like systems, non-iterative machine learning algorithms, and image processing techniques.
Dr. Changsoo Je is currently a Research Professor of Electronic Engineering at Sogang University, Seoul, Korea. He received a BS degree in Physics, MS and PhD degrees in Media Technology from Sogang University, Seoul, Korea, in 2000, 2002, and 2008, respectively. He was a Research Professor (2009-2010) and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow (2008-2009) of Computer Science and Engineering at Ewha Womans University. Dr. Je research interests include computer vision, computer graphics, and image processing.
Dr. James Kim is a research scientist at USDA-ARS U.S. Arid-Land Agricultural Research Center in Maricopa, Arizona, USA. His research focuses on plant phenotyping and automation in breeding and management of fiber, rubber, and oilseed crops against abiotic stresses using remote sensing and imaging technologies. He has prior industry experience at John Deere, Monsanto, and Farmers Edge as a remote sensing and imaging scientist. Dr. Kim received M.S. in Bioresource Engineering from Rutgers University and Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Gyu Myoung Lee is with the Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU), UK, as Reader from 2014 and with KAIST, Korea, as Adjunct Professor from 2012. He has been actively working for standardization in ITU-T, IETF, oneM2M, and currently serves as a WP chair in SG13, a Rapporteur of Q16/13 and Q4/20 as well as an Editor in ITU-T. He is also the chair of ITU-T Focus Group on data processing and management (FG-DPM) to support IoT, smart cities & communities. He is a Senior Member of IEEE. He has been actively working for standardization in ITU-T, IETF and oneM2M, etc.
Dr. Mohanty is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Institute of Technical Education and Research (FET), Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (Deemed to be University), Bhubaneswar, Odisha. He has 25 years of teaching and research experience. He has published more than 300 papers in different Journals, Conferences including Book Chapters.His areas of research interests include Applied Signal and Image Processing, Wireless Communication, Antenna, Intelligent Signal Processing.
Dr. Dilbag Singh has completed his PhD degree in the field of Image Processing from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, Punjab, India (2019). Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor at the School of Computing and Information Technology, Manipal University Jaipur, India. He has received the Master in Technology (Computer Science and Engineering) from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab, India (2012). He has published more than 22 research papers in SCI/SCIE indexed journals. His research interest includes Wireless sensor networks, Digital image processing and Meta-heuristic techniques.
Karan Veer has done his B.Tech and M.Tech in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Kurukshetra University, Haryana, India in the year of 2005 and 2008 respectively. He received PhD in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering from Thapar University, Patiala (India) in the year of 2015. He was a recipient of Postdoctoral Fellowship (Dr. Kothari Postdoctoral Fellowship) instituted by University Grant Commission (UGC) of Govt. of India in the year of 2016; and recipient of Research Associateship (RA) instituted by ICMR of Govt. of India in 2018. Dr. Veer has published around 30 peer reviewed research papers (with SCI Journals) in different international journals of repute with good impact factors and 02 research books on “EMG classification / prosthetic devices” also goes to his credit. At present he is working as Assistant Professor in Instrumentation and Control Engineering Department at National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jalandhar, India.
Dr. Manju Khari is the Associate Professor in the School of Computer and Systems Sciences Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, India since 2021. He did Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from National Institute of Technology- Patna in 2017 and M.Tech in Information Security from Ambedkar Institute of Technology under Govt. of NCT of Delhi in 2010. Before joining the current working place he has worked as an Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) Netaji Subhas University of Technology, East Campus (formally Ambedkar Institute of Advanced Communication Technologies and Research formerly known as Ambedkar Institute of Technology) under Govt. of NCT of Delhi, from May 2007 to March 2021. Dr. Manju's areas of interest are Information Security, Software Testing, Software security, Testing, Computer Network, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things & Cyber Forensic. He received the appreciation from Society of Software Engineering, Delhi Technological University (2014) as Mentor, besides, he got the achievement award from ACM-ICPC Asia Region Gwalior Site (2014). He is a IEEE Professional Senior member of IEEE (Member ID: 94940275), SDIWC Life Time (Member ID: 1305983239) and IAENG Life Time Member (Member ID: 113914). He has been a resource person and delivered a number of talks and chaired a number of sessions in his relevant field. He is a reviewer in a number of journals such as Horizon Research Publishing, USA, Arabian Journal for Science and Engineering, Springer, Soft Computing, Springer, Genetic Programming and Evolvable Machines, Springer etc. He has written a number of papers, books and book chapters.
