Introduction

In recent years, the medical industry has seen an increase in the number of artificial intelligence (AI) applications. Applied AI is helping the medical and healthcare sectors grow and prosper. Clinical decision support systems for medical diagnostics can be developed using AI approaches in the medical arena. Various medical gadgets, trackers, and information systems can get benefit from AI technology. The electronic medical record database contains a plethora of patient data, such as diagnoses, medical histories, prescriptions, and test results that can be handled by AI technologies like deep learning and machine learning in seconds. In the healthcare and medical applications, blockchain is becoming increasingly important as a means of enhancing service function and sophistication. There are numerous opportunities for health care to make use of decentralized technology in addition to sharing health care data, which is critical for improving the quality of care. These include tracking the provenance of medical devices, speeding up the medical billing and claims settlement processes, linking patients in similar clinical trials, and providing more patient-centered services. Additional study is needed to thoroughly analyze the performance of blockchain-based health care systems, this kind of research should concentrate on security and privacy issues as well as scalability and availability issues.
