Abstract
As an extension of our earlier study, (E)-alkyl 3- (dialkoxyphosphoryl)-3-phenylacrylates were synthesized by the addition of dialkyl phosphites to the triple bond of alkyl phenylpropiolates under microwave irradiation. The (E)- diastereoselectivity of the monoadducts falls in the range of 84–90%. There was no need to use any catalyst.
Keywords: Alkyl phenylpropiolate, dialkyl phosphite, addition, microwave.

Smart Nano Materials for Energy Applications
The invention of Field Emission – Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM) and High-Resolution Transmission Electron Microscope (HRTEM) instrumental techniques improve the research scope of Nano-materials as they allow the nanoparticles’ size and shape to be identified. Nano-composites are a heterojunction of two or more semiconductors, which can be tuned to the ...read more
