Abstract
A novel synthesis of multisubstituted pyrroles was developed where in trisubstituted olefins were reacted with p-toluenesulfonylmethyl isocyanide (TosMIC) derivatives. The entire process is operationally simplistic and utilizes mild reaction conditions. Additionally a possible mechanism is proposed.
