Abstract
The syntheses of a variety of organic compounds, with a particular emphasis on nitrogen-containing substrates, with the use of simple electrochemical methods are illustrated. Electrochemical methods allow for the formation of useful and / or novel organic compounds under mild conditions, and involving electrons transfer without the use of any oxidizing or reducing reagents.
Keywords: electrolysis, oxidation, reduction, hydrazone, enamine, cyanation, hydrogenation, cyclization

Advances on New Photochromic Compounds. Synthesis and Applications
Photochromic compounds are materials that can reversibly change color or optical properties when exposed to light, typically ultraviolet (UV) or visible light. This reversible color change is due to a molecular rearrangement or isomerization triggered by light absorption. Advances in this field are focused on synthesizing photochromic compounds with faster ...read more
Biorthogonal Chemistry: A translational Chemical Tool for In Vivo Applications
After the discovery in 1990, bioorthogonal chemistry encompassed a set of diverse, fast-paced selective chemical reactions, facilitating the study of biomolecules under physiological aura without intervening in the biochemical processes. Over the past two decades, significant progress has been witnessed in bioorthogonal reactions such as Staudinger ligation, metal-catalyzed coupling reactions, ...read more
