Abstract

The present chapter highlights the various newer and advanced real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR) detection chemistries and their applications in biomedical research and molecular diagnostics. The chapter also summarizes the most advanced modification of the qPCR based technique along with next generation methods which have immense potential to revolutionize the field of biomedical sciences and molecular diagnostics.
