Abstract: A highly efficient, environmental friendly, palladium (II) catalyzed ligand promoted Suzuki reaction in aqueous phase was developed in short reaction time (4 - 5 h) at room temperature. The key for such a successful catalytic system was the use of suitable amount of co-solvent in the aqueous phase and reuse of palladium catalyst.
