酪氨酸酶是多功能的含铜氧化酶,其催化酪氨酸的氧化以产生黑色素。 黑色素生物合成的改变发生在许多疾病中。 色素具有防止皮肤光致癌作用的作用,但是黑色素异常色素沉着是人类的美学问题。 此外,人脑中神经黑色素的形成可能会导致与帕金森氏病相关的神经变性。 最后,酪氨酸酶还导致水果和蔬菜发生不希望的褐变。 这些主题鼓励在制药,化妆品和食品工业中寻找这种酶的新抑制剂。 这篇综述报告了从植物来源发现酪氨酸酶抑制剂的最新趋势,为继续研究天然酪氨酸酶抑制剂提供了理论依据,并认识到与鉴定这些试剂相关的潜在治疗益处。
