Abstract: Thiocyanation of various aromatic, heteroaromatic and enolizable ketone compounds has been achieved with ammonium thiocyanate in presence of polystyrene cation exchange resin, Amberlyst-15. All the reactions were carried out in acetonitrile at room temperature.
